The present invention is to provide a respirator which can solve a problem that an amount of inhaled air is greater than an amount of exhaled air and a problem that oxygen concentration of inhaled oxygen is insufficient or excessive. The present invention provides the respirator capable of generating oxygen including: a gas tank which stores inhalable mixed gas; a face cover formed to cover a face of a user; an oxygen generation unit which is installed on the face cover, has an exhalation check valve which is open during only user′s exhalation, and has an oxygen generation agent which passes the air having passed through the exhalation check valve and generates oxygen at the same time; and a chamber which is installed on the face cover, receives air from the oxygen generation agent, has an inhalation check valve which is open during only user′s inhalation, and receives the mixed gas from the gas tank if an amount of air, discharged from the exhalation check valve, is greater than an amount of air received from the oxygen generation agent. 본 발명은, 흡입 가능한 혼합 가스를 저장한 가스탱크; 사용자의 안면을 덮을 수 있게 마련된 안면 덮개; 상기 안면 덮개에 장착되어 있고, 상기 사용자의 날숨 시에만 개방되는 날숨 체크밸브를 가지며, 상기 날숨 체크밸브를 거친 공기를 통과시키면서 산소를 발생시키는 산소 발생제를 갖는 산소 발생부; 및 상기 안면 덮개에 장착되어 상기 산소 발생제로부터 공기를 받아들이고, 상기 사용자의 들숨 시에만 개방되는 들숨 체크밸브를 가지며, 상기 들숨 체크밸브로 유출되는 공기의 양이 상기 산소 발생제로부터 받아들인 공기의 양보다 많은 경우에 상기 가스탱크로부터 혼합 가스를 받아들이는 챔버;를 포함하는 산소발생 호흡기를 제공한다.
