The present invention relates to a candle type ballast water filtering device. The ballast water filter device includes: a housing having an let unit and an outlet unit which ballast water in a vessel can flow into or out from, wherein the housing is divided into a housing upper part and a housing lower part by a lower plate; a filter unit located in the housing upper part and filtering the ballast water flowing through the inlet unit; and an automatic washing unit washing foreign substances attached to the filter unit. The filter unit includes: one or more filter elements located along a route of a concentric circle around a driving shaft of a driving unit and capable of filtering and reverse washing; an upper plate connected to the upper side of the filter element and preventing filtering water stored in the housing upper part from being exposed to the outside of the housing; and a shock absorbing unit relieving vibration transmitted from a housing cover to the filter unit by being fixed to the upper plate. The filter unit is damaged due to vibration and impact transmitted from the outside of the vessel and can be filtered from being separated from a fixed position in the inner side of the housing. 본 발명은 밸러스트수 여과장치에 있어서, 선박의 밸러스트수가 유출입 될 수 있는 유입부와 유출부를 갖고 하판에 의해 상측의 하우징상부와 하측의 하우징하부로 나뉘어지는 하우징과, 상기 하우징상부에 위치하고 상기 유입부를 통해 유입된 밸러스트수를 여과시키는 필터부와, 상기 필터부에 부착된 이물질을 세척하는 자동세척부를 포함하고, 상기 필터부는 구동부의 구동축을 중심으로 하는 동심원의 경로를 따라 위치하고 여과와 역세척이 가능한 하나 이상의 필터엘리먼트와, 상기 필터엘리먼트의 상측과 결합되며 상기 하우징상부에 저장되는 여과수가 상기 하우징의 외부로 노출되는 것을 방지하는 상판과, 상기 상판에 고정되어 하우징덮개로부터 상기 필터부에 전달되는 진동을 완화시키는 완충부를 포함을 포함하여, 상기 필터부가 상기 선박의 외부로부터 전해지는 진동 및 충격에 의해 고장나거나, 상기 하우징의 내부엣서 고정된 위치에서 이탈하는 것을 방지할 수 있는 캔들타입 밸러스트수 여과장치에 관한 것이다.
