The present invention relates to a mobile terminal including a display for displaying various kinds of information such as widgets or the execution screens of applications, and a method for manufacturing the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the mobile terminal comprises: a display unit for displaying widgets or the execution screens of application; and a control part, for extracting a keyword from the execution screen after an input window that receives text information is outputted on the display unit, and inputting the extracted keyword on the input window. Therefore, even if a user does not input a keyword directly on the input window outputted on the display unit, the keyword extracted from the execution screen outputted on the display unit is automatically inputted, thereby enhancing the user convenience. 본 발명은 위젯 또는 애플리케이션의 실행 화면 등 다양한 정보를 출력하는 디스플레이를 포함하는 이동 단말기 및 그것의 제어방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 이동 단말기는, 위젯이나 애플리케이션의 실행화면을 출력하는 디스플레이부, 상기 디스플레이부에 텍스트 정보를 입력받는 입력창이 출력되면, 상기 실행화면으로부터 키워드를 추출하고, 상기 추출된 키워드를 상기 입력창에 입력하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
