Summary: | The present invention relates to a novel geranyl flavonoid derivative having improved solubility for water or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a manufacturing method thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition including the same as an active ingredient for preventing or treating cancer. Specifically, the novel geranyl flavonoid derivative of the present invention shows a growth suppression effect in various cancer cell lines by suppressing the expression of a target protein of signal transducers and activators of transcription 3 (STAT3) through phosphorylation suppression of the protein of the STAT3, and shows the reduction effect of the size and the weight of a significant tumor inside the body. The geranyl flavonoid derivative of the present invention can be usefully used as the active ingredient of the pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer.
본 발명은 물에 대한 용해도가 개선된 신규한 제라닐 프라보노이드(geranyl flavonoid) 유도체 또는 이의 약학적으로 허용 가능한 염, 이의 제조 방법 및 이를 유효성분으로 함유하는 암 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 본 발명의 신규한 제라닐 프라보노이드 유도체는 STAT3(Signal Transducers and Activators of Transciption 3, STAT3) 단백질의 인산화 억제를 통해 STAT3의 타겟 단백질의 발현을 억제시켜, 다양한 암세포주에서 생장 억제 효과를 나타내며, 생체 내()에서 유의적인 종양 크기 및 무게 감소 효과를 나타내므로, 본 발명의 제라닐 프라보노이드 유도체는 암 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물의 유효성분으로 유용하게 사용할 수 있다. |
