Summary:The present invention relates to a stent for blood vessel dilation. A stent for blood vessel dilation of the present invention includes: a first body part which is formed by connecting plural columns consisting of a plurality of cells connected to each other, and which has a hollow cylindrical shape; a second body part which is formed by connecting plural columns consisting of a plurality of cells connected to each other, and which is formed on one end of the first body part; and a third body part which is formed by connecting plural columns consisting of a plurality of cells connected to each other, and which is formed on the other end of the first body part. The second and third body parts have larger numbers of cells per unit column than that of the first body part. When the stent for blood vessel dilation is extended by a balloon in the stent for blood vessel dilation, a diameter of the stent for blood vessel dilation is sequentially extended toward a direction of both ends of the second and third body parts from the center of the first body part. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technology which is capable of minimizing tissue damage that may be generated during stent extension by installing the stent in an inner cavity of the human body which has been narrowed according to the progress of stenosis, such that both ends of the stent are not excessively extended in the process of extending the stent by a balloon. A stent for blood vessel dilation according to the present invention is capable of preventing excessive extensions of the stent that may be generated in the second and third body parts by forming the first body part, a second body part, and a third body part such that numbers of cells per unit columns forming the second and third body parts are larger than the number of cells per unit column forming the first body part, thereby extending the first body part located in the center in advance when extending the stent by a balloon.
