Summary:The purpose of the present invention is to provide an ultraviolet light irradiation-type water purifier which is capable of efficiently purifying treating water and can prevent occurrence of a short circuit. The ultraviolet light irradiation-type water purifier of the present invention comprises an ultraviolet light lamp emitting ultraviolet light with the wavelength ranging from at least 200 to 300 nm. The ultraviolet lamp has an inner pipe and an outer pipe disposed on the same axis reciprocally and further includes a double piped discharge container which is provided between an inner circumferential surface of the outer pipe and an outer circumferential surface of the inner pipe and has a discharge space filled with discharge gas. In addition, an external electrode is installed on the outer circumferential surface of the outer pipe, whereas an internal electrode is installed on the inner circumferential surface of the inner pipe. A space formed in the inner pipe is used as a treating water flowing passage where the treating water to be purified passes through, and the internal internal electrode is earthed. (해결 수단) 이 자외선 조사식 정수기는, 적어도 200~300nm의 파장역의 자외선을 방사하는 자외선 램프를 구비하여 이루어지고, 자외선 램프는, 서로 동축 상에 배치된 외측관 및 내측관을 갖고, 외측관의 내주면과 내측관의 외주면 사이에 방전용 가스가 봉입된 방전 공간이 형성된 이중관 구조의 방전 용기를 구비하고 있고, 외측관의 외주면에 외부 전극이 설치됨과 더불어 내측관의 내주면에 내측 전극이 설치되어 있고, 내측관의 내부에 형성된 공간이 정수 처리되는 피처리수가 유통되는 피처리수 유통 공간으로 되어 있고, 내측 전극이 접지된 구성으로 되어 있다.
