Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for filament linearization. The apparatus of the present invention comprises: a transporting device transporting filaments; a heating device equipped with a heating channel which forms a transporting path for the filaments; and a cooling device disposed on a lower side of the heating device in a transporting direction and comprising a cooling channel so as to keep the transporting path for the filaments running, wherein the cross-section areas of the heating channel and the cooling channel are overlapped at least partially. 필라멘트를 직선화시키는 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 상기 장치는 필라멘트들을 이송시키기 위한 이송 장치; 필라멘트들을 위한 이송 경로를 형성하는 가열 채널을 구비하는 가열 장치; 및, 이송 방향에서 가열 장치의 하류측에 배치되고, 냉각 채널을 구비하며 필라멘트들을 위한 이송 경로를 계속되게 하는 냉각 장치;를 포함한다. 가열 채널 및 냉각 채널의 단면적은 적어도 부분적으로 겹친다.
