Summary:The present invention relates to a natural gas liquefaction process. According to the present invention, the liquefaction process comprises the following steps: primarily cooling natural gas in a first heat exchange part using a single closed-loop refrigeration cycle comprising a mixed refrigerant; secondarily cooling natural gas in a second heat exchange part which is distinguished from the first heat exchange part; and tertiarily cooling natural gas in a third heat exchange part which is distinguished from the first and the second heat exchange part. According to the present invention the liquefaction process has simple structure and is easy to operate while exhibiting outstanding efficiency as well. 본 발명에 따른 액화공정은, 혼합 냉매를 채용한 한 개의 폐 루프 냉동 사이클을 이용하여, 제1 열교환부에서 1차적으로 천연가스를 냉각시키고, 제1 열교환부와 구별되는 제2 열교환부에서 2차적으로 천연가스를 냉각시키고, 제1 및 제2 열교환부와 구별되는 제3 열교환부에서 3차적으로 천연가스를 냉각시키는 천연가스 액화공정에 관한 것이다.
