The electronic device comprises: a communications interface for searching for a connectable communications service provider network based on a subscriber identification module (SIM) in which a profile related to communications service connection provided by one or more communications service provider networks is not installed; a provisioning manager for collecting one or more pieces of communications service provider information based on the searched communications service provider network; and a display for outputting the collected pieces of communications service provider information. In addition, various embodiments identified in the specification are possible. 적어도 하나의 통신 사업자 네트워크가 제공하는 통신 서비스 연결과 관련한 프로파일이 설치되지 않은 심을 기반으로 연결 가능한 통신 사업자 네트워크를 검색하는 통신 인터페이스, 검색된 통신 사업자 네트워크를 기반으로 적어도 하나의 통신 사업자 정보를 수집하는 프로비져닝 매니저, 수집된 통신 사업자 정보를 출력하는 디스플레이를 포함하는 전자 장치가 개시된다. 이 외에도 명세서를 통해 파악되는 다양한 실시 예가 가능하다.
