The present invention relates to a wireless communications system which supports a mobility management in a small cell environment. The wireless communications system comprises: a terminal which measures the intensity of a signal of a plurality of neighboring small cells, and transmits a measurement result through a serving cell; and a plurality of small base stations which store terminal context information about ready cells determined among the small cells based on the measurement result. The base stations update the changed terminal context information when a change of the terminal context information on a cell A among the ready cells occurs. 본 발명은 스몰 셀 환경에서 이동성 관리를 지원하는 무선 통신 시스템에 관한 것으로 상기 무선 통신 시스템은 주변 다수의 스몰 셀들의 신호의 세기를 측정하고 측정 결과를 서빙셀을 통하여 전송하는 단말, 및 상기 측정 결과를 기반으로 상기 다수의 스몰 셀들 중 결정된 준비 셀들에 대한 단말 컨텍스트 정보를 저장하는 다수의 스몰 기지국들을 포함하되, 상기 다수의 기지국들은 상기 준비 셀들 중 셀 A에서 대한 상기 단말 컨텍스트 정보의 변경이 발생한 경우, 상기 변경된 단말 컨텍스트 정보를 업데이트함을 특징으로 한다.
