According to the present invention, an apparatus for receiving a broadcasting signal comprises: at least one first input unit and a second input unit provided separately from the first input unit which can receive a broadcasting signal; at least one first tuner capable of processing the broadcasting signal; a first main switch for selectively connecting the second input unit and the first tuner; and a control unit for controlling the first main switch to allow a first broadcasting signal received by the first input unit or a second broadcasting signal received from the second input unit to be inputted to the first tuner. Accordingly, the apparatus for receiving the broadcasting signal, which is to receive the broadcasting signal in a plurality of tuners by using a switch, can be provided when the broadcasting signal is received. Also, the tuners can be operated all by using the switch even if a cable is connected to one from a plurality of input units corresponding to the tuners. 본 발명에 따른 방송신호수신장치는, 방송신호를 수신할 수 있는 적어도 하나의 제1입력부 및 제1입력부와 별도로 마련되는 제2입력부와; 방송신호를 처리할 수 있는 적어도 하나의 제1튜너와; 제2입력부와 제1튜너를 선택적으로 연결하는 제1주스위치와; 제1입력부에 의해 수신되는 제1방송신호 또는 제2입력부에 의해 수신되는 제2방송신호를 제1튜너로 입력되도록 제1주스위치를 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다. 이에 따라, 방송신호를 수신함에 있어, 스위치를 이용하여 복수의 튜너에서 방송신호를 수신하도록 하는 방송신호수신장치를 제공할 수 있다. 또한, 복수의 튜너에 대응하는 복수의 입력부 중 하나에 케이블이 연결되는 경우에 있어서도 스위치를 이용하여 복수의 튜너가 모두 동작되도록 할 수 있다.
