Summary: | The present invention discloses a liquid crystal display device. More particularly, the present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device which has a structure for improving the transmissivity of a liquid crystal panel by using frame rate control (FRC) technology. According to the embodiment of the present invention, a white pixel for improving panel transmissivity is added to a liquid panel. Added is a driving circuit which has a separate data processing unit for processing data for the white pixel. Thereby, the panel transmissivity of the liquid crystal display device using FRC can be improved.
본 발명은 액정표시장치를 개시한다. 보다 상세하게는, 본 발명은 프레임 레이트 제어기술(Frame Rate Control, FRC)을 적용하면서도 액정패널의 투과율을 향상시킨 구조를 갖는 액정표시장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따르면, 패널 투과율을 높이기 위한 백색화소를 액정패널에 추가하고, 그 백색화소에 대한 데이터를 처리하기 위한 별도의 데이터 처리수단을 갖는 구동회로를 추가함으로써, FRC 적용 액정표시장치의 패널 투과율을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다. |
