Summary:According to the present invention, a cable model apparatus comprises: a communications unit for communicating with a broadcasting signal transmitter to receive a broadcasting signal of a predetermined channel; and a control unit for controlling a data channel of a plurality of channels to be switched into a networking channel different from the channels in response to the entering a first low power mode to be communicated with the broadcasting signal transmitter, and controlling the networking channel to be switched into the data channel of the channels in response to the returning to a normal mode from the first low power mode so as to receive data of the broadcasting signal from the broadcasting signal transmitter when communicating with the broadcasting signal transmitter with the data channel consisting of the channels in the normal mode. Accordingly, the present invention can provide the cable model apparatus which can effectively reduce standby power by switching the data channel into the networking channel different from the channels to be communicated in response to the entering the first low power mode during the communications by the data channel consisting of the channels in the normal mode when the broadcasting signal of the predetermined channel is received. 본 발명에 따른 케이블모뎀장치는, 소정 채널의 방송신호를 수신하기 위하여 방송신호송신장치와 통신하는 통신부와; 정상모드에서 복수의 채널로 구성된 데이터 채널로 방송신호송신장치와 통신하는 중에, 제1저전력모드로의 진입에 대응하여 복수의 채널의 데이터 채널에서 복수의 채널과는 다른 네트워킹 채널로 전환하여 방송신호송신장치와 통신하도록 하고, 제1저전력모드에서 정상모드로의 복귀에 대응하여 네트워킹 채널에서 복수의 채널의 데이터 채널로 전환하여 방송신호송신장치로부터 방송신호의 데이터를 수신하도록 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다. 이에 따라, 소정 채널의 방송신호를 수신함에 있어, 정상모드에서 복수의 채널로 구성된 데이터 채널로 통신하는 중에, 제1저전력모드로의 진입에 대응하여 복수의 채널과는 다른 네트워킹 채널로 전환하여 통신하도록 함에 의해 대기전력을 효과적으로 절감하도록 하는 케이블모뎀장치를 제공할 수 있다.
