The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition for a vehicle, comprising 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of polyvalent alcohol having two to eight hydroxyl groups, 0.1-10 parts by weight of a chelating agent having an aliphatic polyvalent carboxylic acid of C1 to C10 (not including carbons of a carboxyl group) having two to four carboxyl groups for 100 parts by weight of the semi-aromatic polyamide resin. The thermoplastic resin composition according to the present invention maintains mechanical properties even after exposed at high temperature by excellent long term heat resistant stability, thereby being proper to be used as parts around an engine room in an under hood area of a vehicle. 본 발명은 자동차용 열가소성 수지 조성물에 관한 것으로, 반방향족 폴리아미드 수지, 상기 반방향족 폴리아미드 수지 100중량부에 대하여, 2 내지 8개의 하이드록시기를 포함하는 다가 알코올 0.1 내지 10중량부, 카르복실기를 2 내지 4개 갖는 C1 내지 C10(카르복실기의 탄소를 포함하지 않음)의 지방족 다가 카르복실산을 포함하는 킬레이트제 0.1 내지 10중량부를 포함할 수 있다. 본 발명에 의한 자동차용 열가소성 수지 조성물은 우수한 장기 내열 안정성으로 장기간 고온에 노출되더라도 기계적 물성이 유지되어 자동차 언더 후드 영역인 엔진룸 주변 부품으로 사용하기에 적합하다.
