The present invention provides a greenhouse gas (GHG) emission amount calculation method and a device thereof. The GHG emission amount calculation method includes the steps of: measuring the GHG emission amount from each of multiple GHG emission sources related to a specific subject; applying a weight value to the GHG emission amount measured by emission source; and using the GHG emission amounts with the respective weight values applied to calculate the total GHG emission amount, thereby enabling a user to check whether the total GHG emission amount meets the assessment criteria of various institutions related to the greenhouse gases more easily. 온실가스 배출량 산정 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. 본 온실가스 배출량 산정 방법에 따르면, 특정 주체와 관련된 복수개의 온실가스 배출원들에서의 온실가스 배출량을 배출원 별로 측정하고, 상기 측정된 배출원 별 온실가스 배출량 각각에 가중치를 적용하며, 각각의 가중치가 적용된 온실가스 배출량들을 이용하여, 온실가스 배출 총량을 산정할 수 있게 되어, 사용자는 더 쉽게 온실가스 관련 다양한 기관의 평가 기준을 충족하는지 여부를 확인할 수 있게 된다.
