Summary:The present invention relates to a bottom-mounted second shutdown drive mechanism in a reactor using a reactor coolant pump (RCP). More particularly, the usability of an upper space is improved by forming a second shutdown drive mechanism in the lower part of a reactor instead of a second shutdown drive mechanism which is formed in the upper part of an existing reactor structure. The second shutdown drive mechanism is automatically driven according to the driving of the RCP without a control device for driving the second shutdown drive mechanism by receiving an existing separate shutdown signal. Thereby, the second shutdown drive mechanism stops the output of a reactor core. 본 발명은 RCP를 이용한 원자로 하부설치 이차정지 구동장치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 종래의 원자로 구조물 상부에 구비되었던 이차정지 구동장치 대신 원자로 하부에 이차정지 구동장치를 구비함으로써 상부 공간의 활용도를 높였으며, 종래의 별도의 정지 신호를 받아 이차정지 구동장치를 구동시키는 제어장치 없이 원자로 냉각재 펌프(RCP; Reactor Coolant Pump) 구동 여부에 따라 자동으로 구동되어 원자로 노심의 출력을 정지시키는 RCP를 이용한 원자로 하부설치 이차정지 구동장치에 관한 것이다.
