Summary:The present invention relates to a method for producing secondary battery which is easy to produce and highly safe, and to a secondary battery produced thereby. To this end, the present invention provides a method for producing a secondary battery, which comprises the following steps: preparing an electrode assembly having a separation membrane interposed between a positive plate and a negative plate; cooling the electrode assembly after impregnating an electrolyte into the electrode assembly; immersing the cooled electrode assembly into a liquid polymer material; and taking out the electrode assembly and then hardening the liquid polymer material on a surface of the electrode assembly thereafter. Moreover, the present invention further provides a secondary battery produced thereby. 본 발명은 제조가 용이하면서도 안정성이 높은 이차전지 제조방법 및 이에 따라 제조된 이차전지를 위하여, 양극판과 음극판과 양극판과 음극판 사이에 개재된 분리막을 갖는 전극조립체를 준비하는 단계와, 전극조립체에 전해액을 함침시킨 후 전극조립체를 냉동시키는 단계와, 냉동된 전극조립체를 액상의 고분자물질에 침지시키는 단계와, 전극조립체를 꺼낸 후 전극조립체 표면의 액상의 고분자물질을 경화시키는 단계를 포함하는, 이차전지 제조방법 및 이에 따라 제조된 이차전지를 제공한다.
