Summary: | The present invention relates to a correlation between a dopamine synthesis system in a midbrain and a biological clock involving in a mechanism of regulating circadian rhythm. According to the present invention, by using a REV-ERBα protein for biological clock and a gene encoding the protein, it is possible to screen novel drug candidate materials for treating and/or preventing cerebropathy caused by an abnormal regulation of the dopamine system. In addition, the present invention may provide a pharmaceutical composition having effects of preventing and/or treating cerebropathy caused by the abnormal dopamine system regulation, by inhibiting REV-ERBα protein which is a nuclear receptor and the gene encoding the protein.
