본 발명의 실시예는 폴라 코드 디코딩 방법 및 디코더를 제공한다. 상기 폴라 코드 디코딩 방법은, 길이 N인 제1 폴라 코드를 상호 연결된 m개의 제2 폴라 코드로 분할하는 단계 - 각각의 제2 폴라 코드의 길이는 N/m이고, N과 m은 2의 정수 거듭제곱이고, N>m임 -; 상기 m개의 제2 폴라 코드를 독립적으로 디코딩하여 상기 m개의 제2 폴라 코드의 디코딩 결과를 획득하는 단계; 및 상기 m개의 제2 폴라 코드의 디코딩 결과에 따라 상기 제1 폴라 코드의 디코딩 결과를 취득하는 단계를 포함한다. 본 발명의 실시예에서는, 길이 N인 폴라 코드를 상호 연결된 복수의 세그먼트로 분할하고; 분할한 폴라 코드들을 독립적으로 디코딩하며; 독립적인 디코딩 결과들을 연합하여 처리하여 원래의 폴라 코드의 디코딩 결과를 취득한다. 이와 같이, N 비트를 순차적으로 디코딩할 필요가 없어, 폴라 코드의 유연성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
