The apparatus for providing a targeting augmented broadcast service includes: an input unit for receiving, from a sender, a targeting message which targets a recipient; a communications unit connected with a network; and a processor for augmenting a targeting message received from the input unit, and providing the augmented targeting message to an augmented broadcast content providing apparatus through the communications unit. 타깃팅 증강방송 서비스 제공장치 및 그 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 타깃팅 증강방송 서비스 제공장치는, 발신자로부터 수신자를 타깃으로 한 타깃팅 메시지를 입력받는 입력부와, 네트워크와 연결되는 통신부와, 입력부를 통해 입력받은 타깃팅 메시지를 증강하고 증강된 타깃팅 메시지를 통신부를 통해 증강방송 콘텐츠 제공장치에 제공하는 프로세서를 포함한다.
