Disclosed are a computing apparatus which provides an individual search means for communication between different individuals of a data distribution service (DDS) in the circumstance of multi-network domain, and an operating method thereof. In the DDS system which includes a first network domain and a second network domain, the method for operating the computing apparatus may include the steps of: collecting search information of DDS individuals included in the first network domain; determining at least one DDS individual among the DDS individuals as a representative individual of the first network domain; and providing the representative individual of the second network domain with the search information of the DDS individuals through the representative individual of the first network domain. 본 발명은 다중 네트워크 도메인 환경에서 상이한 데이터 분산 서비스 개체들 간의 데이터 통신이 가능하도록 개체 탐색 수단을 제공하는 컴퓨팅 장치 및 그것의 동작 방법을 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 제 1 네트워크 도메인 및 제 2 네트워크 도메인을 포함하는 데이터 분산 서비스(Data Distribution Service, DDS) 시스템에 있어서 데이터 분산 서비스를 위한 컴퓨팅 장치의 동작 방법은, 제 1 네트워크 도메인에 포함된 DDS 개체들의 탐색정보를 수집하는 단계, DDS 개체들 중 적어도 하나의 DDS 개체를 제 1 네트워크 도메인의 대표자 개체로 결정하는 단계 및 제 1 네트워크 도메인의 대표자 개체를 통해 DDS 개체들의 탐색정보를 제 2 네트워크 도메인의 대표자 개체에게 제공하는 단계를 포함한다.
