Summary:The present invention relates to an apparatus for recycling a waste fishing net. The apparatus for recycling a waste fishing net comprises: a cutter (2) for cutting a collected waste fishing net into a length of 1 to 1.5 m; a crusher (4) for crushing the waste fishing net, preliminarily cut by the cutter (2), into a length of 5 to 20 cm; a tub body (6) for pulverizing and drying the crushed fishing net by high speed rotation of a rotor (8), and melting the same by frictional heat due to the high speed rotation and an increase in temperature due to a hot wire; a pressing unit (14) for extruding a melted synthetic resin into the shape of a continuous rod; a cooling unit (16) for cooling down the extruded synthetic resin with water; a chip cutting unit (18) for cutting the synthetic resin, rapidly cooled down and crystallized through the cooling unit (16), into the shape of a chip; and a chip drying unit (20) for removing water from the cut chips. As a tuna fishing net made of a synthetic resin is recycled and produced into chips, an effect of recycling resources can be obtained by recycling the waste tuna fishing net. In addition, high quality chips can be produced by maintaining the viscosity of the melted synthetic resin in a recycling process; and the recycling process can be continuously carried out as a screen (26), which filters foreign matter when extruding the melted synthetic resin, can be automatically cleaned.
