The present invention provides a metallic fuel slug used for a nuclear fuel rod for a fast nuclear reactor having metal coating layers. The nuclear fuel rod for a fast nuclear reactor including a metallic fuel slug coated with a metallic coating layer and a coating pipe, prevents a nuclear fuel-coating pipe interaction phenomenon of limiting the life of the metallic fuel slug by forming a metallic coating layer on the metal fuel slug. Therefore, the present invention has excellent economic efficiency and performance compared to an existing technique.
