The present invention relates to a subsidiary feeder composition for livestock having 10 to 80 parts by weight of salt, 20 to 90 parts by weight of kaolin, and 0.1 to 1.0 parts by weight of medicinal herbs with respect to 100 parts by weight of the composition. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method for producing a block of the subsidiary feeder composition for livestock, which comprises steps of: pulverizing kaolin in a ball mill; spray drying the pulverized kaolin powder to enhance formability; preparing a compound by mixing the kaolin with salt; preparing a mixture of kaolin-salt-water by mixing the compound of the kaolin and salt with an extract of Eucommia ulmoides; mixing the mixture of kaolin-salt-water with a binder consisting of bittern (MgCl_2·6H_2O) powder, MgO powder, dextrin, and water; aging the mixture prepared at the fifth step at 15 to 25°C for 2 to 12 hours; shaping the mixture using a high pressure molder; and removing moisture from the mixture by drying at room temperature for 24 to 36 hours, and then drying at 100 to 200°C for 24 to 48 hours.
