Provided are a view sensor device, a home control system including the same, and a method for controlling the same. According to the present invention, the view sensor device comprises: a lens unit for receiving light to photograph an image or projecting the light to display the image; an image obtaining unit for obtaining the image by using the light received from the lens unit; a projector for providing the light to the lens unit to display the image; a light separation unit for providing the light received from the lens unit to the image obtaining unit or transferring the light generated from the projector to the lens unit; and a control unit for controlling the light separation unit to provide the light received from the lens unit to the image obtaining unit when the image is photographed, and controlling the light separation unit to provide the light generated from the projector to the lens unit when the image is displayed.
