Summary:Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for measuring a carrier frequency offset (CFO) in an OFDM system. The method for measuring a CFO in an OFDM system may include the steps of: outputting a first rough estimate, a second rough estimate, and a fine estimate based on inputted training symbols; outputting integer parts of the first and second rough estimates based on the fine estimate; outputting a CFO estimate of the integer part with an expanded estimating range based on the integer parts of the first and second rough estimates; and outputting a final CFO estimate which is normalized by adding the CFO estimate with the expanded estimating range and the fine estimate, wherein the inputted training symbols may have a single frequency.
