Summary:A stand-alone smoke sensor which is operated by a battery and can transmit a smoke alarm signal by wireless comprises: a temperature sensor which senses the ambient temperature at the stand-alone smoke sensor and generates a temperature sensing signal; a smoke sensor which senses ambient smoke at the stand-alone smoke sensor and generates a smoke sensing signal; a signal processing circuit which corrects a reference value according to the temperature sensing signal, compares the corrected reference value with the smoke sensing signal, generates a comparison signal according to the comparison result, and outputs an ID of the stand-alone smoke sensor and the comparison signal; and a wireless transmission/reception module which changes a state signal including the ID and the comparison signal output from the signal processing circuit to a smoke alarm signal, and wirelessly transmits the smoke alarm signal to a receiver.
