The verification method (300) using a real finger as a transport body of a fingerprint comprises: a location selection step (302) of arranging the transport body for transporting; a capture step (304) of capturing a so-called captured image of a fingerprint; a filtering step (306) of converting the captured image into a result image by passing the captured image through a low pass filter; a location finding step (308) of finding a location of an origin (O) where an intensity of a pixel is displayed on the transport body to indicate a maximum pressure on the result image; a confirmation step (310) of confirming whether intensities of pixels of a plurality of points (M) having each radius among a plurality radii from the origin (O) on the result image indicate decreases in pressure displayed on the transport body as distances from the origin (O) to the points (M) increase; and a determination step (312) of determining whether the transport body (10) is valid as a function of results of the confirmation step (310).
