Summary:The present invention relates to a planar heat exchanger. The planar heat exchanger comprises: a heat exchanging tube bank arranging a plurality of heat exchanging tubes in a row direction and a transverse direction, receiving a refrigerant to guide a flow of the coolant; an upper header provided on an upper side of the heat exchanging tubes arranged in the same row direction, sequentially guiding a flow of coolant to the heat exchanging tube in the row direction; and a lower header provided on a lower side of the heat exchanging tubes arranged on the same row direction, sequentially guiding the flow of coolant to the heat exchanging tube in the row direction. A channel connects the lower headers adjacent to each other in the transverse direction. The coolant passage is formed in multi-stages in the heat exchanger unlike in an existing technique in order to reduce material costs and processing costs, and improve heat exchange efficiency. 본 발명은 평판형 열교환기에 관한 것으로, 열방향과 횡방향으로 열교환튜브를 각각 복수 개 배치하여 형성되고 냉매를 공급받아 유동 안내하는 열교환튜브군, 동일한 열방향에 해당되는 열교환튜브끼리의 상측에 구비되어 열방향으로 열교환튜브에 순서대로 냉매의 유동을 안내하는 상측헤더, 동일한 열방향에 해당되는 열교환튜브끼리의 하측에 구비되어 열방향으로 열교환튜브에 순서대로 냉매의 유동을 안내하는 하측헤더를 포함하고, 횡방향으로 이웃한 하측헤더끼리를 채널로 연결하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명은 종래 기술과 달리 열교환기에서 냉매유로를 다단으로 구성함으로써 재료비 및 가공비를 절감하고, 열교환 효율을 향상시킬 수 있다.
