Summary:The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition including an extract of Boehmeria nivea as an active ingredient for inhibiting and reducing generation of wrinkles. According to the present invention, the extract of Boehmeria nivea promotes biosynthesis of collagen, which is a main ingredient of skin dermis, reduces the synthesis amount of MMPs and CYR61 which accelerate decomposition of skin dermis, and thus can prevent and reduce skin wrinkles. 본 발명은 모시잎 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 주름 억제 및 개선용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 본 발명의 모시잎 추출물은 피부 진피의 주성분인 콜라겐의 생합성을 촉진하고, 진피 분해를 가속화 시키는 MMPs와 CYR61의 합성량을 저해시킴으로써 피부 주름을 억제하고 개선할 수 있다.
