The present invention relates to a composition for reducing a body fat wherein the composition contains a chungtaejeon extract as an active ingredient based on a verification result on the anti-obesity effect of the chungtaejeon extract. Chungtaejeon literally means a blue moss and is a type of a green tea. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the chungtaejoen extract has excellent anti-obesity and weight loss effects and shows an excellent effect of suppressing obesity.
