The present invention relates to a cloth treating apparatus having an upper hinge assembly and a lower hinge assembly. The upper hinge assembly of the cloth treating apparatus comprises: a trim kit which forms an upper portion of a door and has a hinge hole; a hinge holder which has a hollow supporter inserted to the hinge hole; an upper bracket which has a hollow hinge shaft inserted to the supporter; a first slit which allows an outer circumferential face of the supporter to communicate with a center portion; and a second slit which allows an outer circumferential face of the hinge shaft to communicate with a center portion. 본 발명은 상부 힌지 어셈블리 및 하부 힌지 어셈블리를 구비하는 의류처리장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 의류처리장치의 상부 힌지 어셈블리는 도어의 상부를 형성하며 힌지홀을 구비하는 트림킷; 상기 힌지홀에 삽입되는 중공의 서포터를 구비하는 힌지 홀더; 상기 서포터에 삽입되는 중공의 힌지축을 구비하는 상부 브라켓; 상기 서포터의 외주면과 중앙부를 연통시키는 제1슬릿과, 상기 힌지축의 외주면과 중앙부를 연통시키는 제2슬릿을 구비한다.
