The sporosarcina pasteurii WJ-2 has the tolerance for a radioactive substance and a radioactive substance treatment function, and especially, has a mycological feature capable of representing the excellent radioactive substance treating activity funder a pH condition which is similar to a local underground water environment as well as enabling to be usefully used in an industrial field such as a treatment of soil and underwater of a radioactive polluted area due to an excellent tolerance for strontium. 본 발명은 방사성 물질 내성 및 처리 활성을 갖는 스포로사시나 파스테우리 WJ-2 균주(WJ-2)를 제공한다. 본 발명의 스포로사시나 파스테우리 WJ-2 균주는 방사성 물질에 대한 내성 및 방사성 물질 처리능을 가지고 있고, 특히 국내 지하수 환경과 유사한 pH 조건 하에서도 우수한 방사성 물질 처리 활성을 나타낼 수 있는 균학적 특성을 가지고 있으며, 스트론튬에 대한 내성이 우수하여 방사성 오염 지역의 토양 및 지하수 처리 등의 산업분야에 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
