Summary: | Disclosed are an agent for reducing an oxide of magnesium, a thermal reducing agent for manufacturing magnesium using the same agent and a magnesium manufacturing method using the same agent. The agent for reducing an oxide of magnesium according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: 1 to 2 wt% of iron (Fe); 50 to 99 wt% of metal silicon (M-Si); and the remainder consisting of impurities.
