Disclosed are a system and a method for managing media service contents provided to a building group. In the system, service setting information for each of a plurality of building groups respectively including a plurality of houses having broadcast receiving terminals is stored in a database. An input signal treating unit receives an input signal from a media service network for providing a plurality of media services based on the service setting information set in the database. A signal converting unit converts the input signal received through the input signal treating unit into an output signal capable of being played in the broadcast receiving terminals of the building groups. Moreover, an output signal treating unit couples an output signal converted by the signal converting unit with each of the building groups based on the service setting information set in the database, and provides the same to each of the building groups through a cable network. 집단 건물에 제공되는 미디어 서비스 콘텐츠를 관리하는 시스템 및 그 방법이 개시된다. 이 시스템에서는 방송 수신 단말을 구비하는 복수의 주택을 각각 포함하는 복수의 집단 건물별 서비스 설정 정보를 데이터베이스에 저장한다. 입력 신호 처리부는, 상기 데이터베이스에 설정되어 있는 서비스 설정 정보에 기초하여 복수의 미디어 서비스를 제공하는 미디어 서비스 망으로부터 입력 신호를 수신하고, 신호 변환부는 상기 입력 신호 처리부를 통해 수신되는 입력 신호를 상기 집단 건물의 방송 수신 단말에서 재생이 가능한 출력 신호로 변환한다. 그리고, 출력 신호 처리부는 상기 데이터베이스에 설정되어 있는 서비스 설정 정보에 기초하여 상기 신호 변환부에 의해 변환된 출력 신호를 상기 집단 건물별로 결합하여 케이블 망을 통해 상기 집단 건물별로 제공한다.
