Summary:Disclosed are a soft demapping method and apparuats in a rotation QAM based communication system. The soft demapping method according to one embodiment of the present invention repetitively preprocesses a symbol using advance information and performs 1D soft demapping of the preprocessed symbol. The symbol is estimated based on a minimum mean square error method or a minimum mean square error-interference cancellation method. 회전 QAM 기반의 통신 시스템에서 소프트 디매핑 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따른 소프트 디매핑 방법은 사전 정보를 이용한 심볼의 전처리 및 전처리된 심볼에 대한 1차원 소프트 디매핑을 반복적으로 수행할 수 있다.
