Summary:The present invention relates to a device and a method to treat molten iron. The method to treat molten iron comprises the steps of: preparing an agent for dephosphorization including Mg smelting slag; inputting the agent for dephosphorization into a vessel; charging the vessel with molten iron; and injecting oxygen into the vessel. Therefore, phosphorus (P) components contained in the molten iron such as hot metal and hot steel can swiftly be removed. 본 발명은 용철 처리장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 용철을 처리하는 방법으로서, Mg 제련 슬래그를 포함하는 탈린재를 마련하는 과정; 상기 탈린재를 용기에 투입하는 과정; 상기 용기에 용철을 장입하는 과정; 및 상기 용기에 산소를 취입하는 과정;을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하고, 용선, 용강 등과 같은 용철 중에 함유된 인(P) 성분을 신속하게 제거할 수 있다.
