Summary: | The present invention relates to a device and a method to treat molten iron. The method to treat molten iron comprises the steps of: preparing an agent for dephosphorization including Mg smelting slag; inputting the agent for dephosphorization into a vessel; charging the vessel with molten iron; and injecting oxygen into the vessel. Therefore, phosphorus (P) components contained in the molten iron such as hot metal and hot steel can swiftly be removed.
