Summary:An image output device and an image rendering method thereof are provided. The present image rendering method receives stroke property information, generates a vertex which represents appearance of a stroke based on the stroke property information, calculates a size of texture based on the stroke property information, decides an alpha value which would be saved in the texture, decides UV information based on the stroke property information, renders the stroke based on the texture having the vertex and the alpha value, and the UV information, and outputs the rendered stroke. 이미지 출력 장치 및 이의 이미지 렌더링 방법을 제공한다. 본 이미지 렌더링 방법은 스트로크(stroke) 속성 정보를 입력받고, 스트로크 속성 정보를 바탕으로 스트로크의 외형을 나타내는 버텍스(vertex)를 생성하며, 스트로크 속성 정보를 바탕으로 텍스처(texture)의 크기를 산출하고, 텍스처에 저장될 알파값을 설정하며, 스트로크 속성 정보를 바탕으로 UV 정보를 설정하고, 버텍스, 알파값이 저장된 텍스처 및 UV 정보를 바탕으로 스트로크를 렌더링하며, 랜더링된 스트로크를 출력한다.
