A context management apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a communications unit which obtains context information from each broadcast reception terminal of which at least one user may in use; and a control unit which manages the context information, obtained by the communications unit, as information used for providing inbound service for a prescribed broadcast reception terminal. 콘텍스트 관리장치 및 그 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 콘텍스트 관리장치는 적어도 하나의 사용자가 사용할 수 있는 각 방송 수신단말로부터 콘텍스트 정보를 획득하는 통신부와, 통신부를 통해 획득된 콘텍스트 정보를, 소정의 방송 수신단말에 착신 서비스 제공을 위해 이용되는 정보로서 관리하는 제어부를 포함한다.
