Provided are a lithium ion battery having a plurality of batteries connected in serial, parallel, or both to the inside of a combined case, or a lithium ion battery having a battery connected to the outside. Each lithium ion battery comprises: a cathode which electrically comes in contact with a positive current collector; an anode which electrically comes in contact with a negative current collector; a separation unit for separating the cathode and the anode; and an electrolyte which comes in contact with the cathode, the anode, and the separation unit.
