Summary:The present invention relates to the biosynthesis of polyunsaturated fatty acids. More specifically, the present invention prepares multi-expression vectors to transform plants to express McD6DES, AsELOVL5, and PtD5DES genes using the pAO815 vectors at the same time. The present invention confirms that the polyunsaturated fatty acids of omega-3 and omega-6 such as GLA, STA, DGLA, ETA, ARA, EPA, DTA and DPA are biosynthesized in the seeds of the plant. Accordingly, the present invention can be usefully utilized as a polyunsaturated fatty acid producing resource. 본 발명은 고도불포화지방산 생합성에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 pAO815 벡터를 이용한 세 개의 유전자와및가 동시에 발현되도록 다중발현 벡터를 만들어 식물체에 형질전환하고, 상기 식물체의 종자에서 오메가-3 및 오메가-6 고도불포화지방산인 GLA, STA, DGLA, ETA, ARA, EPA, DTA 및 DPA가 종자에서 생합성되는 것을 확인하였으므로, 이를 고도불포화지방산 생산 자원으로 유용하게 사용할 수 있다.
