Summary:The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of rare earth nitride, comprising the steps of manufacturing a rare earth precursor solution; manufacturing a sol type rare earth material by mixing the rare earth nitride solution with a polymerization initiator; manufacturing a gel type rare earth material by radiating microwaves to the sol type rare earth materials; manufacturing rare earth nitride by treating the gel type rare earth materials under nitrogen atmosphere with heat. In the present invention, rare earth nitride is manufactured through a sol-gel process by accelerating polymerization reaction of the sol type rare earth materials with use of microwave radiation. 본 발명은 희토류계 전구체 용액을 제조하는 단계; 상기 희토류계 전구체 용액과 중합개시제를 혼합하여 졸 타입 희토류계 물질을 제조하는 단계; 상기 졸 타입 희토류계 물질에 마이크로 웨이브를 조사하여 겔 타입 희토류계 물질을 제조하는 단계; 및 상기 겔 타입 희토류계 물질을 질소 분위기에서 열처리하여, 희토류계 질화물을 제조하는 단계를 포함하는 희토류계 질화물의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 졸-겔 공정에 의해서 희토류계 질화물을 제조함에 있어서, 마이크로 웨이브의 조사를 통해, 졸 타입 희토류계 물질의 중합반응을 가속화하여, 양호하게 희토류계 질화물을 제조할 수 있다.
