Summary:Disclosed are a method for enhancing performance of a road-environment recognition device based on learning and an apparatus therefor. According to the present invention, the method for enhancing performance of a road-environment recognition device based on learning comprises steps of: generating matching data by obtaining road data and information acquisition time; extracting features in the whole area and a local area of a road on the basis of the matching data; detecting a driving mode of a present vehicle to be transmitted to a recognition information processing unit; and determining whether there is learning in an environment recognition device on the basis of the features in the whole area and a local area and the driving mode to provide recognition information about a driving environment recognized by the learning environment recognition device to an intelligent vehicle. 학습기반 도로환경 인식기의 성능 향상 방법 및 이를 위한 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 학습기반 도로환경 인식기의 성능 향상 방법은 도로 데이터 및 정보 획득 시간을 획득하여 정합 데이터를 생성하는 단계; 상기 정합 데이터를 기초로 하여 도로의 전역/지역적 특징을 추출하는 단계; 현재 차량의 주행모드를 감지하여 학습기반 인식정보 처리부로 전달하는 단계; 및 상기 전역/지역적 특징 및 상기 주행모드를 기초로 하여 환경 인식기의 학습 여부를 판단하고, 학습한 환경 인식기로 인식한 주행환경에 대한 인식정보를 지능형 차량으로 제공하는 단계를 포함한다.
