Summary:The present invention relates to a beamforming method and a beamforming apparatus capable of extending the coverage of a control channel. According to the present invention, the beamforming apparatus performs the following procedures: classifying neighboring communications devices based on the number of beams capable of being received by each communications device; adjusting the transmission frequency or transmission cycle of beams based on the classification; and transmitting a control channel through a beamforming mode. As a result, the present invention reduces overhead, increases transmission rates, and can prevent coverage holes.
