Summary:The present invention relates to a locking device for a sliding type window. According to the present invention, the locking device for a sliding type window, locking the sliding type window to be slid in a window frame, comprises; a body installed in the sliding type window; a rotational frame rotationally arranged inside the body; a lever connected to a front side portion of an outer side of the body, being rotated with the rotational frame together; a locking member interlocked with the rotational frame inside the body, being locked or moved to a position to be unlocked; and a striker installed in the window frame to be selectively interconnected in accordance with a setting position of the locking member as a clamping piece is inserted inside the body in a state of the sliding type window to be locked.
