Summary:The present invention relates to a solar cell capable of improving electrical connection properties to an electrode while minimizing recombination in a semiconductor substrate. The solar cell according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a semiconductor substrate; a first conductivity type region located on one surface of the semiconductor substrate; a second conductivity type region located on the other surface of the semiconductor substrate; and an electrode including a first electrode connected to the first conductivity type region and a second electrode connected to the second conductivity type region. The first conductivity type region includes a plurality of parts located by placing a tunneling layer disposed on one surface of the semiconductor substrate therebetween.
