Summary:The present invention provides a mobile terminal capable of providing different types of notification. The mobile terminal includes: a wireless communication unit receiving information; a display unit which outputs a notification icon to indicate the reception of the information; and a control unit which determines whether to output at least a part of the received information based on predetermined standards to selectively perform either one of the control operation of only outputting the notification icon and the control operation of outputting the notification icon with at least a part of the received information.
