Provided are a braking apparatus and a braking method of a vehicle. The braking apparatus of a vehicle comprises: a detecting part, a control part, a determining part, and a braking force compensating part. The detecting part detects at least one of the current braking forces of a left and a right front wheel and the current braking forces of a left and a right rear wheel in accordance to the braking desire of a driver. The control part receives the detected current braking forces of a left and a right front wheel and the detected current braking forces of a left and a right rear wheel includes a predetermined reference braking force range of the left and right front wheel and the predetermined reference braking force range of the left and right rear wheel. According to the control of the control part, the determining part determines whether or not the detected current braking forces of the left and the right front wheel and the detected current braking forces of the left and the right rear wheel are in the reference braking force range of the left and the right front wheel and the reference braking force range of the left and the right rear wheel. When the determining part determines that the current braking forces of the left and the right front wheel and the current braking forces of the left and the right rear wheel are out of the reference braking force range of the left and the right front wheel and the reference braking force range of the left and the right rear wheel; the braking force compensating part compensates the current braking forces of the left and the right front wheel and the current braking forces of the left and the right rear wheel to be in the reference braking force range of the left and the right front wheel and the reference braking force ranges of the left and the right rear wheel in accordance to the control of the control part.
