Summary: | Disclosed is a system for transmitting position information of a virtual office and differential global positioning system information using an active dedicated short range communications comprising a virtual office management unit, a DGPS reception unit, a data transmission unit, an active dedicated short range communications antenna, and a database. The virtual office management unit processes an office code for a virtual office, GPS latitude and longitude coordinates to configure a tolling zone of the virtual office, a connection IP address, and a port number. The DGPS reception unit receives a message of a US marine equipment technical committee to correct the GPS latitude and longitude coordinates. The data transmission unit requests the message of the US marine equipment technical committee to periodically correct the position information of the virtual office and the GPS latitude and longitude coordinates and transmits information transmitted in response to the request. The active dedicated short range communications antenna receives the position information of the virtual office and the message of the US marine equipment technical committee to correct the GPS latitude and longitude coordinates from the data transmission unit and transmits the position information and the message. The database stores the information transmitted from the virtual office management unit and the DGPS reception unit and transmits request information to the data transmission unit upon reception of an inquiry request for the position information of the virtual office and the message of the US marine equipment technical committee to correct the GPS latitude and longitude coordinates from the data transmission unit. |
