Summary: | The purpose of the present invention is to provide a filter capable of effectively reducing flow noise due to a liquid level wave when a wave is generated in a liquid level of refrigerant of gas-liquid two-phase flow having a liquid level following in the flow direction of refrigerant. The present invention relates to a filter (10) installed inside a refrigerant passage (10) wherein refrigerant of a refrigeration cycle flows. In the filter (10), a size of an opening is 0.50 mm or more as a circle equivalent diameter; the space ratio within the installation range of a refrigerant passage (110) is the ratio (Sb/Sa) of the cross-sectional area (Sb) in the minimum neck part of the refrigerant passage (110) or more and 80% or less with respect to a cross-sectional area (Sa) of the refrigerant passage (110) within the installation range thereof; and the length (L) of the refrigerant flow direction (P) of the refrigerant passage (110) is 5.0 mm or more. As the length (L) of the filter is 5.0 mm or more, flow noise due to a liquid level wave can be effectively reduced. As the space ratio is the cross-sectional area (Sb) or more and 80% or less, and the size of an opening is 0.50 mm or more as a circle equivalent diameter, generation of clogging and an increase in passage resistance of the refrigerant passage (110) can be prevented. |
